- Logica UK Ltd., England
- Role
- Technical direction of space studies
- Also
- Earth-resources satellite data-compression studies
At Logica UK, Chris directed technical studies for the European space programme. The principal one was an end-to-end simulation of the astrometric accuracy achievable by Hipparcos, ESA's star-mapping satellite, which launched in 1989 and measured positions and parallaxes for over 100,000 stars.
